Truck and RV Windshields in Flagstaff, AZ

Flagstaff sits where I-40 crosses I-17, which means two kinds of travelers roll through with broken glass every day: truck drivers on a schedule, and RVers headed for the Grand Canyon. We replace windshields on semi trucks and motorhomes, including the big one piece and split windshields that regular car glass shops often turn away.

Semi Truck Windshields

A truck windshield takes the same cinder and gravel hits as any car glass on I-40, but the math is different. The truck earns money when it moves, and a crack spreading across the driver's view is also a roadside inspection problem. Most Class 8 windshields are two piece designs, so often only the damaged side needs replacing, which saves time and glass cost.

When you call, have the truck year, make, and model ready, and tell us which side is damaged and whether the crack is in the driver's view. Our mobile service covers truck stops and truck parking around the I-40 and I-17 junction and the east and west Flagstaff exits, so the work can happen where the truck is already stopped. We will be straight with you about scheduling: the goal is a correct seal and a full cure, not a rushed job that leaks at the first monsoon storm outside Winslow.

RV and Motorhome Windshields

One piece and split glass

Class A motorhomes use very large windshields, either a single curved piece or a two piece split design with a center divider. These are heavy, two-person jobs that need room to work and the right setting equipment. Because the glass is large and often specific to the coach builder and year, it frequently has to be ordered, and we will tell you the lead time honestly before you plan around it.

Why RV glass deserves extra care

An RV windshield sits in a fiberglass cap, not a steel frame, and a poor seal shows up as leaks that quietly damage the interior. The setting surface has to be prepped correctly and the glass supported while it cures, on level ground. If your coach is parked at an RV park or storage lot in the Flagstaff area, call and describe the spot. Many RV jobs work fine on site. Some are better done at a fixed location with more room, and we will tell you which yours is.

On a trip and just passing through?

A lot of our RV calls come from people mid trip: a crack picked up crossing the desert on I-40, discovered at a campground the night before a Grand Canyon day. Call and describe the damage. A chip may be repairable on the spot so you can travel safely and deal with replacement at home. A long crack in the driver's view is a different matter, and we will explain your real options, including what is safe and legal to drive on, without pressure either way.

Insurance for Trucks and RVs

RV policies often include glass coverage, and Arizona's zero deductible glass option can apply to a motorhome policy with comprehensive coverage if you chose it. Commercial truck coverage varies more by policy. Read our insurance page for how Arizona glass coverage works, and have your policy details ready when you call so coverage can be verified before the glass is ordered. Large RV glass is expensive enough that nobody should order it on an assumption.
